How It Works
The AIRDRY Wardrobe Dry Rod uses gentle electric heating to warm the air inside an enclosed storage space. This helps reduce relative humidity and discourages damp conditions that may contribute to moisture-related damage.
The ADR-55 and ADR-80 also include a negative-ionizer function intended to support air freshness. The ADR-35 provides heating-based moisture management only and does not include a negative-ionizer.
Unlike a compressor or desiccant dehumidifier, the Dry Rod does not collect water in a tank. Its effectiveness depends on cabinet size, surrounding humidity, ventilation, and installation conditions.
Installation & Usage Notes
Select a rod size that fits your cabinet and leave 3–5cm of clearance on each side. Install the unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure that clothing, leather goods, and other stored items do not cover or come into direct contact with the heated rod.
For delicate materials such as leather, wood, paper, and musical instruments, monitor humidity with a separate hygrometer and follow the recommended storage conditions for the items concerned. The negative-ionizer function should not be described as providing a verified sterilization or air-purification percentage without supporting test results.
